Start Your Financial Journey
We'd Love to Get to Know You
Thank you for considering Wildes Financial Strategies. Our goal is to understand what matters most to you before making any recommendations.
What to Expect: Our New Client Process
At Wildes Financial Strategies, we believe meaningful financial advice begins with understanding your story. That's why our first meeting is centered around an Asset-Map Discovery Interview—a simple, conversational process designed to help us see the complete picture of your financial life before discussing strategies or recommendations.
Step 1: Share Your Story
We'll begin with a conversation about you, your family, your career, your values, and the goals you're working toward. We want to understand what matters most to you and what prompted you to seek financial guidance.
Step 2: Build Your Personal Asset-Map
Using a simple visual planning tool, we'll create a one-page Asset-Map that organizes the important elements of your financial life, including:
- Income sources
- Savings and investment accounts
- Retirement plans
- Real estate holdings
- Insurance coverage
- Business interests
- Liabilities and debts
- Family relationships and key connections
Many clients find this process helpful because it transforms complex financial information into a clear, easy-to-understand visual format.

Step 3: Identify Opportunities and Gaps
Once your Asset-Map is complete, we'll review it together to identify strengths, potential risks, planning opportunities, and areas where additional analysis may be beneficial. This is often where clients gain new insights about their overall financial picture.
Step 4: Discuss Your Priorities
Rather than focusing immediately on products or investments, we'll explore your goals, concerns, and aspirations. Whether you're preparing for retirement, managing a business, caring for family members, reducing taxes, or building a legacy, we'll discuss what success looks like for you.
Step 5: Determine Next Steps
At the conclusion of the meeting, we'll discuss whether our planning and investment management services may be a good fit for your needs. If so, we'll outline a clear path forward and explain what information may be needed for further planning.
Our Commitment
The discovery meeting is designed to be educational, collaborative, and pressure-free. Our goal is to listen, learn, and determine how we can best serve you. We believe that exceptional financial planning begins with understanding the people behind the numbers.
"Before we discuss solutions, we take the time to understand your story."
